性质描述:

白色固体或无色油状液体。熔点45℃，沸点136.5℃，58-59℃（6.4kPa），相对密度0.9175（20/4℃），折光率1.4243，闪点2℃。溶于乙醇、乙醚，不溶于水。有辛辣气味，遇水易分解。

生产方法:

由巴豆酸与乙醇酯化而得。

用途:

用作有机合成中间体、溶剂、油漆软化剂。
